Since 2009, we have been documenting and promoting the presence of art in public space through publishing activities, art galleries, organizing exhibitions, lectures and lectures, and supporting the participation of Polish artists in international events.
PUBLICATIONS
During more than 10 years of the Foundation’s activity, we have published several albums, either alone or in cooperation with large publishers, which are designed to define and present phenomena in the area of urban art in Poland.
FORTY/FORTY GALLERY
The Forty / Forty Gallery operated in the years 2011-2015. It was always an open and unsupervised street art gallery. The creators invited to the project filled the interior of the over a hundred-year-old, abandoned building of the tsarist barracks in Bema Forts in Warsaw with their works. The gallery was curated by Marcin Rutkiewicz.
The works were carried out thanks to the favorable position of the Capital Conservator of Monuments, from the foundation’s own funds and subsidies from the Bemowo District Office (2011), the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage (2012) and the City Hall of the Capital City of Warsaw (2014 and 2015).
INSTYTUT MUSIC & ART FESTIVAL 2019
At the invitation and in cooperation with the creators of the legendary INSTITUTE club scene, we have created a street art gallery in the Modlin Fortress, the place where this international festival of electronic music took place. The 2019 edition was curated by Szymon “Szyman” Szpanowski.
